Foods 6 - Students have been working in class to complete their online assignment around the different types of eggs and have begun work on an assignment where they will create a wanted poster for a food borne illness after doing some research.
Following up with our work around eggs, the students were in the kitchen making the following:
Basic fried egg sandwiches
Foods 7 - Because of the short week last week, students were in the kitchen twice this week and made the following:
Deviled egg salad sandwiches
California-style fried egg sandwiches
Students are expected to ensure that they have completed their online assignments around the Canada Food Guide and the most recent one examining the different types of eggs. Students continue to also work on individual projects of their choice. The expectation is that students should complete a minimum of 2 of these individual projects.
